Henry Frank's birth certificate shows he was born in Indian Territory to full-blood Creek Indian parents named Tingo & Amanda Jones Frank in 1900. Henry is listed on the Dawes Roll as number 38.

Also, the original copy of Henry Frank's birth certificate shows he was born in 1900. Henry, himself, always said he was born in 1900. However, his official death certificate shows his birth year as 1899. This appears to be in error.

Known siblings of Henry Frank are: Joseph Frank, Cornelius Frank, William Frank, Nora Frank, John Frank, Lucille Frank, and Ella Frank.

NOTE: Cornelius Frank, (Find a Grave #63610772) is buried next to his brother, Henry, in the Arbeka Indian Methodist Church Cemetery.

Henry married Ruby Geboe, a half French-Canadian and half Seneca-Cayuga Indian woman on Nov. 27, 1923 in Creek County, Oklahoma. Henry and Ruby had 2 sons.

For a living, Henry was a carpenter. He could build a replica of anything he saw, including furniture. He and his family built the current church building that houses the Arbeka Indian Methodist Church in Seminole County. When the building was complete, he then constructed the pews for the parishioners to use.

As is custom for Indian burials, Henry got a wooden house over the top of his grave. Folks thought it fitting that his house look like the church building he errected. His grave is in the church yard. A photo of both the church building and Henry's wooden house can be seen in the photos to the right.
