Thomas Nutter, 67, died Tuesday morning at five o'clock at his home, 801 Center street. He had been in declining health for some time.
Born in Ritchie county, Mr. Nutter has lived in Parkersburg for twenty-five years and had been employed by the Baltimore and Ohio railroad for the past twenty years. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He leaves two sons, C.B. and Frank P., and two daughters, Mrs. Ray Williams, and Mrs. E.J. West, all of Parkersburg; three brothers, Elias and Lafayette of McFarland, W.Va., and Benjamin of Lisbon, Ohio, and one sister, Mrs. Benjamin Jennings, of McFarland.
The body was removed from the Leavitt funeral home to the West Residence on Center street Tuesday afternoon and funeral services are to be held there Thursday afternoon at three o'clock. Burial will be in the Mount Olivet cemetery.
