David A. Oldfather
David A. OLDFATHER, 89, R.R. 4, Rochester, died at 4 a.m. today in the Rochester nursing home, where he had been a patient for the past year. Mr. Oldfather had been in failing health for the past six years.
Born Jan. 14, 1875 in Ohio, he was the son of Eligha and Mary PULSE OLDFATHER. He was retired from masonry construction. Mr. Oldfather was married Jan. 17, 1901 in Rochester to Suda Belle ROBBINS, who survives. Surviving with the wife are a son, Arthur A. [OLDFATHER], R.R. 4, Rochester; a granddaughter, a graat-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. Five sisters and a brother preceded in death.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Foster & Good funeral home with the Rev. C. J. MOWRER officiating. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
