2 days due to cerebro-vascular thrombosis.
Died in the Los Angeles County Harbor General Hospital at Torrance.

September 23, 1914 - Henry enlisted in the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force; he served in the 2nd Battalion, 1st Brigade where he achieved the rank of Major.
He served 10 years in the 10 Q.O.C. Quebec;
5 years in the 8th R.R.
6 months in the 4th C.M.R.

Henry and Mary married on 1 August 1918
at London, England.
They were the parents of;
Glaedys Emily, Hammond Edward Temple, Margaret Ernestine.
The family emigrated to U. S. A. in 1923.

It was said that to combat the loss of this luxury lifestyle, he tried to kill himself by enlisting in all the wars he could;
however, he survived all of them.
