MRS. ELIZA PHELPS Died in the Early Morning Hour Today The death of Mrs. Eliza Phelps occurred this morning at Mrs. Marguerite Hakes private sanitarium where she has been cared for several weeks. Her age was 79 years. She had been in usual health until Thursday night when she was taken violently ill and faithful nursing and skilled medical treatment were of little avail and she failed rapidly until the end came peacefully. Surviving her are three sons. Bert F. Phelps of Syracuse, M.E. Phelps of Ellicott City. Md. John A. Phelps of White Horse Alaska.Mrs. Phelps was formerly a resident of Union N.Y. and the body will be taken there Monday where funeral services will be held and interment made.
