Alfred Hiram McKim was the youngest son of Alfred Wayne McKim and Margaret P. Taylor. He married Cora Ellen Fullerton on Jan. 1, 1894 in Grant City, Worth Co., MO. She was the eldest daughter of Lenox Fullerton and Nancy Jane Groom. To this union ten children were born; Ola Arabella, Roy Preston, Ruth Idella, Velma Jane, Luella Margaret, Carl Clifton, Esther May, Wilma Fay, Dorothea Dale, and Alfred Fullerton. Alfred and Cora moved their family from Grant City, MO. to Dunnegan, MO. where they farmed and Alfred made railroad ties for a living. Times were tough, but the McKim's were a close knit, hard working, and self reliant bunch. The couple moved to Yucaipa, CA., Oct. 1943.

Alfred is buried with his wife Cora and daughters Luella and Dorothea.
