Jack is the son of Nicholai Danielovich Seminoff and Doonya Vasilivna Pahomovna Bugnoff. He is one of nine children: John, Hazel, Pauline, James, Jack, Alex, Michael, Anastasia, Alice.

He married Stella James Miloserdoff (1900-1974). They have three children: Jane, Nicholas, and James.

Jack and his family lived in Los Angeles, CA. The 1920 census doesn't show his occupation. By 1930 he was working as as grinder in a beet oil factory. Stella was a laundress in a laundry.

Dad says Stella divorced Jack and moved to Los Angeles, Los Angeles, CA. He says there is a Jack Seminoff buried at the Russian Cemetery in SF. He says Stella worked at the Galland Laundry for a time and she was a nice looking woman. Jack was a long shoreman who enjoyed his father-in-law's homemade wine. They had a son Jim, who had an important position in SF
