AMBROSE DALE DIES IN NOBLESVILLE HOSPITAL

One of the County's oldest residents Died Early Yesterday Morning
Ambrose D. Dale, one of the county's oldest residents, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning in a Noblesville hospital. He was born in Hamilton county, December 25, 1827, and moved to Lebanon in 1850. He was married in this city to Amanda Vance in 1853. One daughter, Mrs. Albert Smith, of near Fayette, Hendricks county, survives the first union. Mr. Dale was a carpenter and mill worker here for many years. He was made a Mason in the local lodge in 1862 and had held his membership for 56 years. He has resided for the past year at the home of his nephew, Walter Inman, near Westfield. He was taken to the hospital in Noblesville a few days before his death. He was ill ten days with hypestatic pneumonia.

The funeral services will be held from the Lindsay and Telle parlors at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The officiating ministers will be Reverend O.H. Carmichael and R.H. Kent. Masonic burial services will be held at Oak Hill cemetery.
