Dorothy McCarty, 86, of Paragould died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Green Acres Nursing Home.
She had lived in Paragould all of her life and was a member of the Paragould Church of God.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husbands, Melvin Maynard and Joe McCarty; sons, Jerry Maynard and L.L. Maynard; step-son Jimmy McCarty; brother, Paul Holcomb; sisters, Sylvia Taylor and Maudie Maynard.
Survivors include daughters, Darlene Riggs and husband; Brenda Howard and husband Bobby; Viola Rogers and husband Gary; and Betty Files and husband Gene, all of Paragould; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Burial was at Pine Log Cemetery with Michael Rogers, Gary Rogers, Bobby Howard, Ronnie Daniels and men of the church serving as pallbearers.
