Funeral services for George M. Bowlby, age 79, of 347 Myrtle Ave, were held yesterday afternoon at Gray's Funeral Parlor, Westfield. Interment was in a
Phillipsburg cemetery. Mr. Bowlby had been a resident of Garwood for 20 years. He was born in Washington (NJ) and moved to the borough to take a position with the Aeolian Company. He was a member of The Knights of Pythias, the Republican League and the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, Sarah Barnet Bowlby, and a sister, Jennie Bowlby, of PA.
