She was born to Douglas Noel Stephens and Hannah Georginna Scriven Stephens on September 26, 1909 in Johnstown, Nebraska. Mrs. Collins was a former resident of Aransas Pass and Corpus Christi, Texas.
Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, I. Bobbitt Collins; adopted daughter, Ellen Mae Lassiter.
Survivors include her son, Bobbitt Noel Collins of Katy, Texas, and wife Lucy Willene Collins; her grandson, Roy Lee Lassiter, and wife Jean; granddaughters, Diane Moore and husband Richard; Dior Michelle Lindsley and husband Guy, Brigitte Ann Hughes; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Morquecho, Max Morquecho, Cooper Morquecho, Jordan Lindsley and Sarah Ellen Briggs; great great grandson Parker Joseph Stafford.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Seaside Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 26, 2010 at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
