My son-in-law descends from John R. Wear, born 1827, Warren County Ohio, married Lydia Collins, 31 December 1846, John Wear, was son of; Robert Wear (1790-12 October 1897), Carl Junction, Jasper County Missouri, and Catherine Pope, born 1794, Prob. Washington County Pennsylvania, died post 1860 prob. Shelby County Indiana, her parents were Samuel Pope (1761-1837) and Phoebe Lee, daughter of William Lee, who was in Washington County Pennsylvania, About 1790. Robert Wears parents were Samuel Wear (bc.1760-1823, either Warren County Ohio or Shelby County Indiana and Sarah ?
