Harvey C. Hargis, 71, of Ellis Grove, died Thursday, Aug. 26, 1976, in the St. Ann Healthcare Center at Chester.
He was born Feb. 27, 1905, in Ellis grove, to Charles and Lilly Smith Hargis. He was married to Johanna Heidenfelder, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Hargis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ellis Grove.
Survivors include a son, John of Ellis Grove, a brother, Stanley of Ellis Grove, and sisters Florence Kempfer of Gorham and Marie Roberts of Ellis Grove.
