A son of Dorilas and Lydia G.Lincoln, he was born on a farm in Moultrie county, near Hammond, Sept. 16, 1880. At the age of 17 he moved to Decatur with his mother and lived here several years before accepting the Indiana position with the Mueller company.
His first wife Agnes Hahn of Decatur and their two children preceded him in death. He later married Emma Joahimi of Indianapolis, whom he leaves. He also leaves four sisters, Mrs. William L.Sawyer of Decatur and Mrs. Abbie Thorp, Mrs.Maude Way and Mrs.Julia Fowler, all of Seattle and a brother in San Diego, Calif.
He was a member of Stephen Decatur lodge 979 A. F. of A. M. and also chapter and Commandery of Decatur.
