Policeman Patrick J. Dorgan, 55, veteran of 22 years of the park district force and winner of a Chicago Tribune hero award for bravery, died early yesterday of heart attack at his home, 2723 N. Lockwood av. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Genevieve church, 4835 Altgeld st. Burial will be in Mount Carmel cemetery. Mr. Dorgan won the hero award when he and a companion captured two burglars in the act of rifling a safe at a west side candy company last May. He leaves his widow, Marie, his mother, Mrs. Bridget Dorgan, a sister, Mrs. Margaret Chapleau, and a brother George.
