"Death of O. P. Beebe.
Sioux City, May 19. O. P. Beebe, who once was president of the Sioux City Trades and Labor assembly and a leader in organized labor circles in the state of Iowa, died May 14 at Albuquerque, N. M., of consumption.
He arrived in the morning from Los Angeles, accompanied by his wife and two cigarmakers, who were with him as a committee representing the Los Angeles union, and died at 10 o'clock that night at the home of his wife's parents."
