Well known and highly respected Capuchin Friar Mark Cornelius Coyle OFM. Cap., passed away at Ards Friary, Creeslough, on Friday, June 11, 2010.
The former Guardian's life changed dramatically after a road traffic accident in September 2008 when his car collided with a bus just outside Creeslough.
With serious neck, chest and arm injuries, among others, he was gravely ill and spent a long time in a Dublin hospital. Fortunately he improved and was able to return home.
Following the funeral Mass celebration at Ards Friary, burial followed in the adjoining cemetery.
