Judith A. "Judy" Kinsel, 68, of Columbus, died at 11:05 a.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Kinsel was born in Columbus on December 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Carl Wendel and Mabel Wade Wendel of Columbus. She married August F. "Auggie" Kinsel January 5, 1962, in Columbus. He survives.
Mrs. Kinsel had worked in retail sales at several local stores and was a member of Calvary Christian Church in Edinburgh. She enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street with the Rev. Bill Weaver officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Parkinson's Awareness Association.

Along with her husband and mother, Mrs. Kinsel is also survived by a son, Michael (Christina) Kinsel of North Vernon; two daughters, Leisa (Thomas) Neal and Teresa Garrity, both of Columbus; a sister, Linda (Charles) Doup of Columbus; four grandsons; four granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral for Judith A. "Judy" Kinsel, 68, of Columbus, was conducted Saturday at Myers-Reed Chapel with the Rev. Bill Weaver officiating.
Burial was at Garland Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers were Mrs. Kinsel's son, Michael Kinsel; her grandsons, Michael Kinsel Jr., Daniel Sorg, Alex Garrity and Blake Kinsel; her nephew, Rich Doup; and Stefan Moisica.
Mrs. Kinsel died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2010, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
