BARRICK ISAAC BIOGRAPHY BOOK - RICE COUNTY FAMILIES, 1981 ISAAC BARRICK, son of Jacob and Elizabeth, was born in Loudoun County, Virginia (other source: Hampshire Co., VA). We know nothing of his childhood or early manhood. He married Elenor Camolin, who was of Irish descent, about 1817 (other source; 1915, Granville, W. VA), and it is probable that they settled in Virginia as Grandfather gave that as the state of his birth. After a few years they moved to Columbiana County, Ohio, where Mrs. Barrick died in 1825. Subsequently, Mr. Barrick married Mary Glass, and after some years moved to Prairieville, Rice County, MInn., where he died December 13, 1880. (Other source says he married Mary Glass, Sept. 15, 1825, Butler Township, Columbiana Co., Ohio). Mr. Barrick affiliated with the Lutheran Church up to the time he located in Rice County, but there being no church of that sect there he united with the Presbyterian Church and continued in it to the time of his death. Three children were born to the first union and twelve to the second. They were: First Marriage: (1 source) Alpheus Camolin b. 9-1-1818; Angeline b. 1821 Married William Morgan; Nimrod b. 1824 died Ohio 1855. (2nd source) - Angeline b. 1816; Alpheus C. b. 1818; Nimrod b. 1820. 2nd Family: Lewis, Isaac, Barbara, Julia, Mary, Sarah, Eliza E., Nancy, Jessie G., Lueritia J., Rachel L., and Catherine Louisa. Isaac Barrick owned land in Section 35 of Cannon City township in 1858.
