Apostle of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, son of Apostle Franklin D. Richards and father to Apostle Legrand Richards.
He also served as Salt Lake Temple President, Patriarch to the Church, and at the time of his passing was President of the Quorum of the Twelve.
