Loy Foster, 76 of Dardanelle, a retired truck driver, died Saturday.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Helen Marple Foster; four sons, Lonnie Foster, Robert Foster, and Larry Foster, all of Dardanelle, Don Ford of Russellville; four daughters, Mrs. Sally Landsdale of DeQueen, Mrs. Verla Moyer of Mountainberg, Mrs. Freda Kendrick of Van Buren and Mrs. Wanda David of Oklahoma; a brother; Nick Foster of Dardanelle; two sisters. Mrs. Jonnie George of Ola and Mrs. Annie Bell Roberts of Brownsville, TX; two grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
When Lloyd Ray "Biggin" Foster was born on August 27, 1909, in Yell, Arkansas, his father, John, was 37 and his mother, Anna, was 36. He married Irene (Heflin) Apple and they had two children together. He then married Helen Elizabeth Marple and they had two children together. He died in his hometown, and was buried there.
