Robert Gordon Houk, age 85, of Indiana, passed away Jan. 26, 2010, in Miramar Beach, Fla.
He was born on Feb. 5, 1924, in Cheneyville, Ill., to Richard and Lucy Houk. Mr. Houk enjoyed amateur radio, golf and fishing.
Mr. Houk was preceded in death by his father and mother; son, Robert Morris; and daughter, Joyce Rutkowski. Mr. Houk is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn Houk of Indiana; son, Dennis Houk and wife Denise of Rolling Praire, Ind.; two daughters, Nancy Houk of Indiana, and Rena Arnette and husband Toy of Destin, Fla. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Houk Family Cemetery.
