Mary Elizabeth was the oldest child of Benjamin and Emeline Cover. She was married to John Peacock who was a local boy who lived near them growing up. John was also working in the coal mines with her dad and her brother Sylvanus and their brother in law Harry Fessler. Mary Elizabeth and John had 4 daughters. Emeline Cover Flickinger said 2 of them were redheads and resembled each other as much as twins, but were not twins. She was an excellent cook, very strict, and fastidious homemaker like her mother. Mother of Myrtle, Ethel, Eliza Emeline and Edith Pearlida born 1905. Edith died in her early 20's. Had 3 small kids and was also taking care of her elderly father in law.
