Daughter of Wm and Rebecca Heck of Unity Twp., Columbiana County, Ohio, sister of Amanda Heck and Ida Heck. When she was 18 she was a house servant for the Palmer family and married their son, change of life baby, Frank Palmer. Not known if they divorced or he died young, Margaret was raised by her step-father Sylvanus Cover. Lived on Sharrott Road in Beaver Twp., North Lima-Poland, Ohio that her husband and his father and two brothers built when they got married in 1888. This home was a two story log home which was built with logs cut from trees on their own property. They hired a local man with a saw to cut down and process the logs. The walls were about a foot thick which can be seen by looking at pictures of the house and its windows and doors.
