Born in Beaver Twp daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Lingenfelter Ackerman. Married Benj. Franklin Cover when she was 17. Raised by the Goterba/Koterba family. Her siblings were split up because their father died young and their mother could not handle raising them, giving them all up for guardianship. Solomon Ackerman, a brother moved to Leslie, Ingham County, MIch and worked for a railroad there. In advancing age and deteriorating health, she stayed with her son and daughter in law Sylvanus and Catherine (Heck-Palmer) Cover on Sharrott Road in North Lima (Beaver Twp). She died at this home as her husband was also ill and was being taken care of in Youngstown Twp by their son and daughter in law (Henry) Austin and Bertha Cover. Her funeral started at the house and then church services at the Reformed Mt. Olivet Church across the street from the North Lima Cemetery where she and (Benjamin) Frank are buried. They were married January 14, 1864 in Petersburg, Ohio.
