James B. Baird, 89, died at 4:10 a.m. April 24, 1995 at Lima Convalescent Home. He was born Oct. 10, 1905, in Canton, to James and Eusciba Baird. He married Lois Greenslade, who died Sept 16, 1992. Mr. Baird was a service engineer for Teledyne Ohio Steel. He worked for National Roll and Foundry in Avonmore, Pa., until 1946. He graduated from University of Wisconsin, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. Survivors include a daughter, Marianne (Baird) Wallman of Minneapolis; and two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Woodlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Darwin Ralston will officiate.
