Gilbert Rothwell, 80, died Sunday evening, May 30, at 5:45 o'clock at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Philip Postlewait, Parkersburg, where he had made his home the past five years. He had lived in the Parkersburg area 25 years, and before moving to the home of his daughter he operated a farm at Red Hill, Route 50. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Adams Rothwell; three daughters, Mrs. Philip Postlewait and Mrs. Dearman Freed, of Parkersburg; and Mrs. Charles Dulaney of Akron; two sons, Leslie of Detroit and Earl D. of Louisville, a twin brother, Albert Rothwell of Akron; a step-daughter, Mrs. Henry Wendelken of Elizabeth; a step-son, Otis Trader of Palestine, Rt. 1; and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from the Franklin Funeral Home, of Parkersburg, and burial was made in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
