St. Augustine, July 11. – The sad news was received here today announcing the death of Mr. William E. Stanley, son of Mrs. M. A. Stanley which occurred at Duncan, Okla.
Mr. Stanley, who had recently arrived there had contracted to paint the city standpipe and was in the act of painting the structure when he fell from the scaffolding and was killed.
The body which is now en route will arrive in this city on Monday next. The exact hour of the funeral has not been decided upon.
