Thomas L. Hess, 64, of Saxton died at his home, September 23, 1970. He was born at Saxton on January 14, 1906, a son of Fred and Alice (Lockard) Hess. He was united in marriage to Pauline Wenrick In 1929, the ceremony taking place at Cumberland, Md. Surviving are his wife and these children: Mrs. Alice Heffner and Fred Hess, both of Yardley; Richard Hess of Bedford; Earl Hess of Saxton. Also surviving are two sisters: Mrs. Thelma Leonard, Schwenksville and Mrs. Frances Russell, Saxton. He had been employed as a concrete finisher during his lifetime.
