Bertha J. McReynolds, 81, bunker Hill, passed away at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010 at Windsor Estates Nursing Home in Kokomo.
She was born May 2, 1929 in Cass County to Oscar and Ruth (Reed) Cree. She married Arnold L. McRaynolds Nov. 26, 1950 in Cass County, and he preceded her in death May 23, 2008.
Bertha was retired from Delco Electronics with 26 years of service, and a member of UAW #292. She enjoyed apron making, sewing and tin art collecting.
Bertha is survived by a son, David (Donna) McReynolds, Bunker Hill; a daughter, Diana L. (Robert) Hale, Kokomo; three grandchildren. Nicole J. (Mark) Cothern, Kokomo, Mariah R. McReymonds, Bunker Hill, and Maxwell R. McReynolds, Bunker Hill, a great-graandson, Caden Cothern, Kokomo; a sister, Carol Vance, Logansport; a sister-in-law, Joan McReynolds, Kokomo; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers, Don and Tom Cree.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Murray Weaver Funeral Home, 401 S. California St., Galveston, with the Rev. Norm Snyder officiating.
Burial will be at the Galveston Cemetery, Galveston.
