After his discharge, Charles met Mary Lewis. They had a special relationship for number of years. He was a great provider to Mary and the children. He worked as a welder for many years until retirement. He loved carpentry and was well known in the community as "the upholstery man."
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother, a grandchild, and Mary Lewis.
Survivors to cherish his memories are: Charles H. Green, Jr., Derrick Lewis, and Elonda Quinn all of OCK. Two sisters: Judy Mayberry (TX) and Lula Thomspon (OKC). Three brothers: Nathan (OKC), Robert Lee (Enid), and James (TX). Six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
