Henry L Brown, 70, died Thursday, Sept 16, 1993 in Amarillo. Rev R L Hunnicutt, pastor of St Johns Baptist Church, Memphis, officiated at graveside services at 11 am Saturday, Sept 18 in South Fairview Cemetery. Services were under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. Born in Alvarado, to Henry W Brown and Celia Bridgewater, they came to Wellington in 1950. He was a farmer and attended the Church ofChrist. He married Maggie Brown on March 8, 1953 in Childress. He is survived by his wife, Maggie, of Wellington; two daughters, Celia Brown of Wellington and Mattie Sue Washington of Abilene; five sons, Herman Wilburn of Temple; Jessie Wilburn of Ft Worth; Gary Brown and Dann Brown, both of Amarillo and Perry Brown of Houston; Seven brothers, Ivory Wilburn of Fredrick, OK; David Bridgewater and Jamie Bridgewater both of Ft Worth; Shirley Bridgewater of Liberal, KN; Maurice Bridgewater, Gene Bridgewater and Joe Bridgewater, all of Waco; two sisters, Willie Mae Stephens of Alvarado and Martha Nickerson of Amarillo; fifteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
