From a newspaper article in 1928..Mose was working on the hay fork in the peak of the barn during haying, when he slipped from the ladder, striking the grainery, then landing on the floor of the barn. He thought he was ok so did nothing for a couple days. he finally went to the doctor and found he had a broken arm.
After he retired from the farm me moved to a small house in Lowville, NY and was employed by Jacques Hardware Co. until ill health forced him to quit. He died of heart ailments.
