Wiliam C. Allen, age 68, of Jonesboro, AR, formerly of the Piedmont, MO, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Jonesboro, AR . Mr. Allen was born March 16, 1942 in Piedmont, MO, to the late Clayton Harrison Allen and the late Cora Blanch Eads. Mr. Allen entered the United States Air Force on September 16, 1959 in St. Louis, MO. He served for four years and was discharged on September 15, 1963. He was united in marriage to Nina Jones on March 6, 1988. He retired as truck mechanic and contractor in the concrete bussiness. He is survived by one son, Carl (Amelia) Allen, of San Antonio, TX, 2 step-sons, Donal (Annette) Trolinger, Marmaduke, ARK, Denny (Karen) Trolinger, of West Plains, MO, 2 daughters, Kim Allen, of San Antonio, TX, Michelle Allen, of San Atonio, TX. One step-daughter Jeanette Grehan of Nesbit, MS. One brother, Russell (Carolyn) Allen, of Paragould, ARK, one step-brother Dennis (Alice) Allen, of Ellsinore, MO. Two sisters Erma ( Eugene) Pruitt, of Piedmont, MO, and Pam (Thomas) Willis of Piedmont, MO. His step-mother Louise Allen. Visitation for Mr. Allen will be Saturday February 26, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. with funeral services following at 3:00 p.m. both will be held at Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont, MO.
