Mildred Cummings Varden, age 85, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 after a brief illness. She was born on November 25, 1925 in Purcell, Oklahoma. She will always be remembered for her love of gardening and traveling. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who will be dearly missed.
Mildred is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lela Tanksley; her husbands Ezra Edward Cummings, Sr. and Olan V. Varden, and son Ezra Edward Cummings, Jr.
She is survived by her loving and devoted daughters Paulette (Scott) Murray, Gail (Donnie) Barnett, Karon (George) Spoon, Lynn (Blaine) Withers, 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at Seaside Memorial Park on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 9:00 a.m.
