ALBERTA J. BECKETT HENDERSON, age 90, of Hurricane, W.Va., died Thursday, March 3, 2011, in St. Mary's Medical Center, after a short illness. Daughter of the late Ahas and Lula Lawson Beckett, she was a member of Trace Fork Baptist Church and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jennings Henderson, son Frank Henderson, sister Ruby Rappold and brothers Minor, Clinton and Clyde Beckett. Surviving are one son, Randy Henderson and two daughters, Wanda Henderson and Darlene Henderson, all of Hurricane; daughter-in-law Janie Henderson and granddaughter Sumer, both of Winfield, W.Va. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 6, 2011, at Allen Funeral Home, 2837 Main St., Hurricane. Burial will follow in Trace Fork Cemetery.
