He appeared in such films as "The Cherokee Strip" (1937), "That Gang of Mine" (1940), "Strike Up the Band' (1940), "In Old California" (1942), "Strange Holiday" (1946), "The Luckiest Guy in the World" (1947), "County Fair" (1950), and "Born to the Saddle" (1953). His television credits include "The Lone Ranger" and "Adventures of Superman." He died at the age of 74. He was the younger brother of actor Guy Kibbee and father of actress and screenwriter Lois Kibbee.
