Mrs. Nora Ann Massay, who would have been 87 years old September 14, died unexpectedly at her home at Rt. 5, Carrollton, early Tuesday. A resident of Carroll County all her life except for two years, Mrs. Massay was a member of Church of Christ here. Last of a family of eight children, she was a daughter of the late Abner and Sara Ann (Allmon) Guess. She and her husband, Ira Massay, would have observed their 61st wedding anniversary Saturday.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, the Rev. George Massay of Connellsville, Pa., Jerome Massay of Carrollton and Howard Massay of Rt. 5, Carrollton, a daughter, Mrs. Edna Hendricks of Carrollton; nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Allmon Funeral Home with the Rev. H. H. Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Harlem Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the Allmon Funeral Home Thursday afternoon and night.
