Stella Myrtle Spencer, 67, daughter of John and Anna Snodgrass, was born Dec. 11, 1882, at Homewood, Kansas, and passed away on September 5, 1950 at her home in Farnam, Neb. after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband L.E. Spencer; three daughters: Mrs. Grace Davis of Nampa, Idaho, Mrs. Eva Goodrich of Atchison, Kansas, and Mrs. Nellie Cox of Lomita Calif.; and two sons: Everett of Keota, Colo and Dale of Nampa, Idaho. One daughter passed away in infancy. Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept 10, 1950, at 2:30., p.m., in the Farnam Church of the Nazarene, Rev. T. B. Gray and Rev. Noble V. Hunt officiating. Three musical selections were sung by a quartet, David Banks, Mrs. Charles, Davis Mrs. Charles Pollard and Charles Pollard with Mrs. Jay Rice as pianist The casket bearers were Paul Sukraw, Harold Lehman, Jay Rice, John Oberg, Clarence Oberg, and Lawrence Oberg. Interment was in the Curtis cemetery. The McVay Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements -THE TIMES
