Mr. Thomas A. Harris died on Saturday, March 5, 1904 at his residence on Whites Creek Road. Born and raised in Davidson County, he was highly respected and esteemed. For a long time, he was Magistrate from the Twenty-first District and a consistent member of Mt. Hermon Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was the father of Mrs. D.B. Evans, Mrs. A.J. Graves, Mrs. H.C. Knight, N.C. Harris, Alex Harris, and Forrest Harris.
