Blues Musician. Known as "Lil' Son" Jackson, he was a Texas guitarist who pioneered the modern blues era marketplace. Signing with Gold Star Records in 1948, his first record "Freedom Train Blues," was a national R&B hit. He was best known for his solo work which included "Milford Blues," "Rockin' and Rollin'" and "Rock Me Baby" recorded with Imperial Records, 1950 to 1954. His last album was "Blues Come To Texas", in 1960.
