Bertha M. Casterline, 85, of Lake Orion died Feb. 11, 2006. Bertha was a former member of the Gladwin Eagles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, and her grandson Tom Merritt. She was the mother of Ray (Barbara), Robert (Inga), Kay (Dave) Powell, Beverly Betzing, Barbara (Jerry) Kaczynski, Joyce (Rick) Derring, Donna (David) Spears; sister of Robert (Polly) Pence, Christine Welch, Leo (Beatrice) Pence, Kenneth (Margaret) Pence and Dormalee (Charles) Baker. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 Great-grandchildren, and four Great-great-granddaughters.
Funeral services Thursday, Feb. 16, at 10 a.m. at the Lewis E. Wint & Son Trust 100 Funeral Home, where friends may visit Wednesday from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Private interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Gladwin.
