Mrs. Ollie Lee Tuggle,
age 90, of the Maple Gap
community, Swords Creek,
Virginia passed away Saturday
afternoon in a Richlands,
Virginia hospital after
an extended illness. A
native and lifelong resident
of Russell County, Virginia,
she was a daughter of the
late L. K. and Virginia
Perkins Dye. She was a
member of the Primitive
Baptist Church and was
preceded in death by her
husband, Matthew Tuggle,
one daughter, Mrs. Trula
Dye and one son, Earnest
Tuggle.
Survivors include four
daughters, Mrs. Audrey
Dye and Mrs. Beulah Rolen
both of Swords Creek, Mrs.
Dorothy Meade of Centersburg,
Ohio and Mrs. Lucy
Baldwin of Hampton, Va.;
seven sons, Claude Tuggle
of Paintlick, Virginia, Edward
Tuggle, Cecil Tuggle,
Lawrence Tuggle, Arch
Tuggle, all of Swords Creek,
Glen Tuggle of Pataskala,
Ohio and Berton Tuggle of
Columbus, Ohio; one sister,
Mrs. Lola Dye of Swords
Creek; three brothers; Leonard-
Dye, Alden Dye and
Robert Dye all of Swords
Creek; 64 grandchildren, 93
great-grandchildren and 7

also survive.
Funeral services were
conducted Tuesday at 1:00
p.m. in the Honaker Funeral
Home Chapel withe
Elder Steward Owens, and
Elder Landon Colley officiating.
Interment followed
in the Tuggle Family Cemetery
near the home at Maple
Gap.
