Sgt. Brandon S. Hocking, 24, of Seattle, Wash., died March 21 in As Samawah, Iraq, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 87th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 3rd Sustainment Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga. Brandon is survived by his wife Havalah Hocking, children Sebastion and Gwenivere, step children Morgana and Odian, Father Kevin Hocking of Seattle WA and Mother and Stepfather Christine & Calvin Dansereau of Pomeroy WA as well as 5 sisters, Britney, Breanna, Brooke, Brielle Hocking and Gracie Dansereau as well as maternal grandparents Gary and Dee Pitts of Lake Tapps, Myrna Hocking of Bigfork, MT and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
