Daughter of Capt. John J. Jones (1826-1872) & Nancy Sarah 'Queeny' Porter Jones (1826-1852). Sister of Sam Porter Jones (1847-1906). Mary and her mother 'Queeny' died of the same disease prevalent at the time, and are buried next to each other. Their graves are actually across the dirt cemetery road, in the woods, & are fairly easy to find. There are about a dozen or so other graves in the same area of the woods.
