Erma Maxine Minnich Bryan, 86, of West Terre Haute, passed away at 1:35 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2011, in Springhill Village at Terre Haute. She retired as a foreman from Chesty Foods in Terre Haute. She was born Feb. 3, 1925, in West Terre Haute, to Virgil Minnich and Gertrude Collins Minnich. Her husband, Donald Lee Bryan, whom she married on Sept. 25, 1942, preceded her in death on July 13, 1996.

Survivors include a daughter, Pam Bryan of West Terre Haute; two sons, David Lee Bryan and his wife Karen, and Tommy V. Bryan and his wife Cathy, all of Paris, Ill.; three sisters, Marge Hojem and Ruth Earls, both of Terre Haute, and Reba Davidson and her husband Ernest of Seattle; five grandchildren, David Bryan Jr. and his wife Emily of Friendswood, Texas, Jon Bryan of West Terre Haute, Mandi Harmon and her husband Steve of Paris, Heather Hinkle and her husband Mack of Martinsville, Ill., and Jason Bryan of Paris; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon Minnich and Arthur Minnich; and two sisters, Wilma Clark and Cleda Greenlee.

She was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 144 and the Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 6574 Ladies Auxiliary.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, in Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Chris Wilbur officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, and prior to services Tuesday, at the funeral home.
