MUNCIE--Rosemary E. Burton, 84, died Saturday morning, September 10, 2005 at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born in Muncie, the daughter of Christopher and Marie Dailey Long, graduated from Muncie Central High School class of 1938, and spent her entire life in this area.
Mrs. Burton was a loving mother and grandmother as well as a homemaker.
Surviving are her four children, Michael W. Burton (wife-Joyce Jean), Carolyn J. Grow, Stephanie Burton, and Becky Johnson (husband-Paul); 13 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Wilbur C. Burton, preceded her in death.
Private memorial services were held as she requested, with cremation following. The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
