Employed in the shipping department of the Ball Brothers Company, Mr. Burton suffered a heart attack shortly after reporting for work yesterday morning. An ambulance was called, but Mr. Burton succumbed before he could be taken to the hospital. He came to Muncie from Mitchell, Ind. and had been employed by the Ball Brothers Company for the past 15 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, the Moose Lodge and the Eagles Lodge.
Surviving besides the widow, Mrs. Lydia Burton, are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carter Burton of Mitchell; a son, Wilburn Burton, of Muncie; three brothers, Edward Burton of Mitchell, Walter and Ison Burton of Anderson; five sisters, Mrs. Effie Bennett, Mrs. Hazel millage, Mrs. Bessie Eck, all of Anderson, Mrs. Martha Happel of New York, and Mrs. Ella Huffman of California.
