Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Sivert-Macey Funeral Home in Sumner. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mr. Cessna was born Oct. 11, 1905 in Lawrence County, the son of Garfield and Katherine (Shidler) Cessna. He married Ethel Dunlap June 30, 1934.
Mr. Cessna is survived by his wife, Ethel Cessna of Sumner; two sons, Kenneth Cessna of Sumner and Everett Cessna of Paris, Ill.; four sisters, Faye Howell of Shoals, Ind., Mary Sechrest and Alice Jennell, both of Bridgeport, and Lola Gasperik of Sumner; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Cessna was a retired operator at Marathon Oil for 30 years. He was a member of Free Methodist Church.
