Joseph Franklin Biggs, 76, died July 31, 2003. Mr. Riggs was a lifetime member of Madison Senior Citizen's Center and a fourth degree Knights of Columbus member. He was also a member of the Moose Club, the Guys and Dolls Ball Room Dance Club and the Friday Night Dance Club at the Knowles Center. Survivors include his wife, Francis Kost Biggs; children, Joseph (Athena) Biggs Jr., Jane (Jerry) Slater, Jeanne (Charlie) Leitch, Rohling (Kaye) Biggs and Sissy Woodall; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lavenia Biggs; brothers, Kenneth and Lytle Biggs; and heart-felt son, Jerry Brown. Family and friends served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus, Senior Citizens Inc., the Donelson Chapter of AARP, Metopolitan Nashville Retirees, Guys and Dolls Dance Club and the Moose Club. Interment was in Palmer's Cemetery, White House.
